    I agree that authenticity is important to the street culture, and I think it’s kind of sad that everything is all about the money. I get that that’s how things work, but to me it seems like it takes away from the integrity of the line.

    Ripping off designers and mass producing them is not ok, no matter what the price point difference is. And it’s a problem in all types of fashion.

      Jenny I really fret over the fact that the world seems more and more about the benjamins. I have a young daughter and it boggles my mind, the world that she will inherit. In terms of creativity, the moment something is good or cool it gets sucked into the corporate vortex and sent down the chain where it will either thrive or end up in a dollar store. Keeping it real becomes a big test of one’s authenticity and integrity. When someone holds money over your head, and you need it, what choices do you make? Stay tuned as we continue this discussion!
